Position Location:  Marion Area Transit, 137 S State St, Marion, Ohio

This is non-exempt position with a starting pay rate of $13.92/hour.  Hourly rate will increase to $15.66/hour upon successful completion of one-year of employment and will move to $17.93/hour upon completing second year.

The individual in this position drives the bus to transport passengers over specified routes to local or distant points according to time schedule and maintains logs as required by ODOT and MAT Regulations.  Must have either a high school diploma or GED, as well as a valid Ohio Driver’s License.  Driver’s License must be without restrictions of any privilege to drive at any time and must be free from any requirement of High Risk Liability Insurance.

Successful completion of a pre-employment background check, physical examination and drug screen are required prior to employment with the City of Marion.
